New Flexible Booking Options for Salvin House Alston

by | Salvin House

Weekends and Midweek Breaks from October 2021

When we launched our new Alston staycation property back in July, Salvin House was limited to seven day bookings, Saturday to Saturday. A few people have told us that they would like shorter breaks and enhanced flexibility from their holiday let, so you asked and we delivered.

From Friday 8th October 2021, we will be moving to a new weekend and midweek booking system. This means that changeover days at your Alston holiday cottage will be Friday and Monday, with all breaks beginning and ending on those days. So, you can stay Friday to Monday, Monday to Friday, Friday to Friday, Monday to Monday, or whatever you like

A few points to bear in mind:

  • The price for weekly bookings in our self-catering cottage will not change, although this does mean that they will begin on Friday, instead of Saturday.

  • The new system means that if you want to book your Alston staycation from Friday for a full 9-10 days, instead of 7, perhaps for a school half-term, you can now do that.

  • For any booking of 7 nights or more, weekly prices will apply, regardless of whether you arrive on Friday or Monday.

  • Bookings are now open through to Summer 2023, with Christmas 2023 also added.

The only exception to the new rules will be three weeks over Christmas and New Year, when we move to a more flexible system, with a minimum of three nights per booking and arrivals on any day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The change of day also means that you can save 10% on a six day break from October 2nd to 8th, plus we’re offering 10% off all available weeks in September 2021. Go to Special Offers to find out more, or Book Now to take advantage of our new country getaway options,
